Το πρόγραμμα JARVIS Open Call #2 - Co-development Track στοχεύει στη χρηματοδότηση καινοτόμων έργων που σχετίζονται με την αλληλεπίδραση ανθρώπου-ρομπότ. Δικαιούχοι είναι τεχνολογικοί αναπτυξιακοί φορείς (SMEs/startups) που μπορούν να λάβουν έως 100.000 ευρώ ανά έργο, με συνολικό ανώτατο όριο χρηματοδότησης 200.000 ευρώ. Η προθεσμία υποβολής προτάσεων είναι μέχρι τις 1 Ιουνίου 2026 και το βασικό όφελος για τους δικαιούχους είναι η υποστήριξη στην ανάπτυξη καινοτόμων τεχνολογιών.

Selected projects are expected to start after the contracting phase, estimated for September 15th, 2026. Type of Beneficiary Open Call #2 targets technology developers (SMEs/startups), optionally collaborating with RTOs. Open Call #2 will fund 2 entities: One leading SME or startup (mandatory) Optional second entity - Technology developing (e.g., RTO or additional partner) Eligibility The applicants should be legal entities established and based in one of the EU Member States or a Horizon Europe Associated country as defined in Horizon Europe rules for participation. The applicants should be either SME/startup (mandatory lead), optionally with an RTO partner or a research organisation providing technology/ expertise (eligible only if there is already one SME technology provider in the consortium). The applicants should be able to prove their financial stability and capacity and pass any financial check required by the European Commission, including financial capacity assessment. SMEs and Start-ups will be considered eligible only in the case that they have been established at least one year before the submission of the application. The applicants should not have been convicted for fraudulent behaviors, other financial irregularities, unethical or illegal business practices. The applicants should not be enterprises under liquidation or under difficulty according to the Commission Regulation No 651/2014 art. 2.18. In addition to the criteria above the eligibility check will verify that: Submissions are made only through the F6S platform: https://www.f6s.com/jarvis-oc2-co-development/apply within defined deadline. The application as well as the requested documents are provided only in English language. The proposal description is submitted according to the Guidelines for Applicants and provided templates. Individual organizations or micro-consortia of two legal entities are accepted. Complete application with all required information. Additional constraints: Maximum funding per project: €100,000 Only one proposal per entity across the JARVIS Open Calls Cumulative funding cap: €200,000 across JARVIS Open Calls Proposal Submission Proposals must be submitted electronically, using the JARVIS Online Submission Service accessible via the F6S platform at https://www.f6s.com/jarvis-oc2-co-development/apply Proposals submitted by any other means will NOT be evaluated. English is the official language for JARVIS Open Call. Submissions done in any other language will be disregarded and not evaluated. English is also the only official language during the whole execution of the JARVIS programme. Proposals Evaluation Each proposal will be assigned to two external evaluators. Payments will be made in 3 instalments (20% + 60% + 20%) as a lump sum. Applicants are invited to submit proposals addressing one of the following topics, each linked to a specific JARVIS pilot: Aeronautics Manufacturing (COLLINS Pilot) Topic #1: Large and deformable parts models supporting the implementation of impedance control-based co-manipulation Topic #2: Zero Interface Human-Robot Interaction in Agile Manufacturing Topic #3: Real-Time Robot Trajectory and Dress Pack Collision Avoidance Automotive Manufacturing (TOFAS Pilot) Topic #1: Intelligent Mechatronic System for Collaborative Manipulation of Linear Flexible Components Topic #2: Wearable-Augmented Human Tracking for Uncertainty Reduction in Close-Range Human–Robot Collaboration Topic #3: Digital Safety Validation and Risk-Aware Design for Close-Range Human–Robot Collaboration Nuclear Plants Decommissioning (EDF Pilot) Topic #1: Optimization of waste volume packaging Topic #2: Anomaly detection for teleoperation and skills execution Offshore Inspection & Maintenance (EQUINOR Pilot) Topic #1: Robust self-localization and mapping with mobile robots in semi-outdoor process plant environments Topic #2: Online automatic detection of damages on metal/concrete infrastructure and/or operational features Topic #3: Autonomous intervention with mobile manipulator using Foundation Models Selected projects are expected to: Design and develop a solution addressing one of the JARVIS topics Integrate their solution within the corresponding JARVIS pilot via ROS2-compatible interfaces Deploy and validate the solution in the relevant JARVIS testbed Demonstrate the added value of their technology for the JARVIS pilot, improving processes such as productivity, flexibility, safety, or human-robot collaboration The work will be structured in three Sprints: Sprint 1 – Requirements: – Detailed definition of system architecture, integration approach, demonstration and validation scenarios, and key performance indicators Sprint 2 – Development & Deployment: Development of the solution and initial deployment in the pilot environment Sprint 3 – Integration & Validation: Full integration, testing, and validation in real conditions Applicants are expected to deliver: A functional module prototype (TRL6) Validation results based on defined KPIs Documentation of integration with JARVIS pilots A clear pathway for further exploitation and scalability All solutions must be compatible with the JARVIS ecosystem and contribute to extending its capabilities within industrial environments.
