Legal and financial set-up of the grants</h4><div class="eui-u-mt-s"><p>Beneficiaries must provide financial support to third parties. The support to third parties can only be provided in the form of grants. The maximum amount to be granted to each third party is EUR 800,000 to bring innovative climate preparedness and resilience solutions closer to the market[[ It is estimated that EUR 60,000 - the usual amount maximum amount that can be paid to a third party - is an insufficient amount to provide meaningful support to businesses and projects to bring innovative climate preparedness and resilience solutions closer to the market.
